Insurance Information

Dr. Pedlow accepts many insurance plans including most private and commercial insurances, Medicare, Workers' Compensation Coverage, PPO, POS and Indemnity Plans.
Dr. Pedlow is not contracted with any managed care plans.

Any physician not contracted with the HMO plan of a particular insurance company is considered an "out-of-network" provider for that insurer. Most PPO, POS and Indemnity plans offer the ability to see physicians outside the HMO network of physicians, usually at a slightly higher cost to the patient in the form of a co-pay or a deductible. If you are a member of an HMO plan and Dr Pedlow is not contracted with that plan, your HMO will require a writtien,  "Out of Network Authorization" for your care to be covered.

Please be aware that as of January 1, 2009 some PPO plans, including some BCBS-Massachusetts PPO plans, will change their benefit offerings with regard your "out-of-network" coverage. We recommend that you verify the benefits offered by your PPO plan carefully when the policy is renewed. Click here for more information

*Patients with these insurance plans should contact their insurance company's Member Services Department, or their employer's Benefits Department, to verify that they have out-of-network coverage.
